WELCOME TO TY’N Y FFYNNON COTTAGE

This beautiful fully restored cottage is built into the mountainside of Dinas Oleu the first piece of land given to the national trust, the largest conservation charity in Europe in fact that was the very start of the national trust 125 years ago. The lady who donated the land was Fanny Talbot and she lived in the neighbouring property, and her servants used to live here in Ty’n -y-Ffynnon cottage.

We have 4 great sized bedrooms, all with sea views, and they have recently been tastefully renovated and decorated to the highest standards.

Set on “The Rock” in “Old Barmouth”, Ty’n Y Ffynnon has views of the Historic Harbour, Mawddach Estuary, Barmouth Beach and Town, and the surrounding mountains.

We have 2 decking areas with patio furniture , an area for a great family barbeques, and provide a hot tub with views overlooking the town below.

Set over 4 floors with a self contained bedroom on the ground floor with its own en-suite bathroom.

The top floor attic room has a double bed with plenty of drawers for clothing.

The front bedroom has a double bed with wardrobe and sea views.

The middle room has bunk beds.

Towels and bed linen are provided.

Sea views from all front windows.

Tyn-y-ffynnon Cottage has been lovingly restored keeping original oak beams,original stone internal walls and a stunning waterfall bath,there is a natural spring to sit next to and relax.

There is a Fully fitted kitchen with full size fridge freezer,washing machine and dish washer.

We have two spacious decking areas, a hot tub with stunning views, patio furniture, and barbecue.

Due to the unique location of the property, vehicle access is very difficult, but luggage and shopping will be taken up to the property via a quad bike. The walk to the property is approx 5-6 mins, there are also 2 parking places in the town provided at no extra charge.
